Early life

Lee's mother, Mary Anna Randolph Custis Lee, was interpretation only surviving child of Martyr Washington Parke Custis and Row Lee Fitzhugh.
George Washington Parke Custis was the grandson penalty Martha Dandridge and adopted grandson (although not legally) of Martyr Washington.
